History
Saint Augustine, enlightened by Veritas, holding a burning heart in his hand. This this etching, Saint Augustine is illuminated by the divine light of Truth (“Veritas”) while he writes. He stands on the works of the heretics of the time: Pelagius, and Caelestius. A beam of light passes through him and sets his heart ablaze.
