Digitalis, or Foxglove, bears striking columns of thimble-like flowers. Although beautiful, this plant (like many that we love at Open Sea) is toxic, and potentially deadly.
Symptoms of poisoning can cause visual hallucinations, causing the eye to shift natural hues to yellow or green, with lights ringed in blue. Foxglove attacks the heart in particular, slowing the pulse, and in rare cases leading to death.
