Dashwood Journal

Join us as we take a turn through England in the Regency Era with Sense and Sensibility, designed in collaboration with Focus Features.

The collection looks beyond the familiar romance of Austen’s story to the objects, rituals, and cultural codes that shaped everyday life in Regency England: letter writing and courtship, books and artistic taste, balls and dancing, gardens and the picturesque, and even the spectacle of the dinner table.

This notebook has a dedicated page for the owner to write their name, with illustrations from the period and quotes from the book and film. At the bottom of each lined page are the words “mistress of myself,” inviting the owner to use it as a place for expressing their authentic self.

Sense and Sensibility is only in theaters October 16.
